I am a yoga teacher based in Teignmouth, Devon. Passionate about sharing the teachings of yoga, using breathwork, asana, mantra, chanting and meditation. Building a connection within, allowing space for us to be ourselves, so we can show up in the world feeling grounded, balanced and centred.
I enjoy helping people to discover this practice, I hope you can join me for practice sometime.
Hello and welcome! I’m Tracey.
I tried yoga a few times when I was in my 20s but I didn’t really understand what it was about. Then while I was living abroad, in a stressful job, a friend suggested I go to their yoga class with them. So I went along, something seemed to resonate and I started going on a semi-regular basis around work. When I returned to the UK, I started exploring a variety of yoga classes. I enjoyed the practice but I felt there was something missing, most of these classes seemed to only teach the physical part of the practice without going into greater depth. So I started to find books that would help me.
After having our first child we moved to Teignmouth and I started classes with a wonderful teacher whose classes embraced the eight limbs of yoga and included some of the philosophy of yoga. I started attending workshops and everything started to slot into place.
In 2020 I took a foundation course with the British Wheel of Yoga and then went onto the 200 Hour Teacher Training course with Angela Ashwin at the Gift of India Yoga School accredited by Yoga Alliance Professionals.
I am now blessed to be teaching classes in Teignmouth.
